Great Makeup Tips?

What are any great makeup tips? Essentially I am looking for anything, it doesn't really matter to me exactly who it is for, just any great tips you have will work!:)

I have a beauty website, and I may put any answers on my website so please tell me who to give the credit to, or tell me if you don't want your answer on the website! (answers that don't say how to credit or not to put on the website won't be put up)Great Makeup Tips?
Oily Skin:

Do not overly exfoliate your skin or use harsh astringents that can dry out your skin's surface. When that happens, your skin automatically produces more oil to compensate for the dry feeling. Using the appropriate products for your skin type is the best way to take care of your skin

Normal/Combination Skin:

This type of skin can be tricky as it is a combination of oily and dry. Your T-Zone will have more oily shine, but your cheeks will be drier. The proper skin care regimen will preserve your skin's natural emollients and help normalize your oily areas for the perfect balance.

Dry Skin:

The best way to condition dry skin is to be sure to tone before applying moisturizer. It softens skin and makes skin more accepting of your moisturizer. After toning, apply the moisturizer to damp skin

Concealer Application:First thing to remember when applying concealer is to always use your ring finger for maximum control. Secondly, choose a shade that closely matches your foundation shade or choose one shade lighter.

For easiest application, moisturize your face first. Apply concealer in small dots and blend well at the edges. Don't apply more than two coats of concealer at a time, or it will look obvious that you are trying to hide something. Don't forget to cover alongside the bridge of your nose where it tends to be dark.

Blush Tips:You want to look as if you just came in from the cold with a flushed or rosy look or if you just got back from the beach, glowing in color. Fair skin tones look best in sheer pinks and natural tones. Medium and darker complexions are most suited for rose, mauves and berry tones. Since people's eyes will go to where color shows, you want to avoid the apples of your cheeks. Highlight your cheekbones with blush instead, since that is where you naturally blush. Follow this simple tip: Place two fingers on the side of your nose and remember that blush should never be closer to your nose than that! Start at the apples of your cheeks and sweep upward toward your hairline

Bronzer:The key to making your bronzer look natural is making sure you apply it correctly. When applying bronzer, think of where the sun would touch your skin and that's where you should apply. These areas include the bridge of your nose, the apples of your cheeks and the top of your cheekbones

Liquid Liner Application:It is best to steady your elbow on a flat surface or to rest your pinkie on your cheek. Try working in two steps: First start at the center of the eye and draw a line from the center to the outer corner. Then, go back to the inside corner of the eye and connect that line to the center. This will help keep the eyeliner thin and close to the lashes. You can continue the outside line upward slightly to give lift to your eye.

Lipliner Application:Applying lipliner can be challenging, but it's easier if you remember a few simple guidelines. For the most natural look, follow the edge (or rim) of your lip starting at the top or bow of the lips. With short, feathery strokes follow along to the corner of each side of the lip. Next, line the bottom lip from the center, outward to the corners. It is very important to fill in the rest of your lip with lipliner so as to not leave a single line. Apply lipcolor that matches as closely as possible to the shade of lipliner that you are using.

Foundation Tips: Going Shade Shopping?

If you can't try on the foundation you are interested in, hold it up next to your face (in sunlight if possible).

Seasonal update

Skin color changes with the seasons, so your foundation should change, too. For instance, do not wear the same foundation with a summer tan as you would in the winter.

To be precise

For the most professional application, use your fingertips or a triangle sponge to apply foundation. Natural sea sponges don't cover evenly - save them for your bath. Instead, try Sponge Wedges - the smooth surface strokes on evenly, the tapered edge blends make-up into tough to reach spots like corners between eye and nose.

Bright-eyed tip

Use foundation on your eyelids even if you never wear shadow. It gives a bright, open look to the entire eye area.

The blend trend

When you wear foundation on your entire face or need coverage at the jaw line, be sure to blend it into the edges of your face and down onto your neck, or else you will appear to have a mask on. Sponge Wedges offer a smooth surface for an even application.

Shake things up

If you are using a liquid foundation, always shake the bottle vigorously before applying.

Color coordinating

Foundation color should be so perfectly matched to your skin tone that it seems to disappear into your skin. It should not be noticeable in any way. If it is, the shade is wrong.

Here are tips on right foundation finish: Sheer:

Let the true you shine through! This softer finish is perfect for those who'd rather go bare. Works for normal and combination skin types. We recommend Covergirl TruBlend or covergirl Clean Makeup.

Dewy:

This fresh finish loves the outdoors and looks radiant and natural when hiking trails or setting sails, especially for dry and normal types. Try CoverGirl Smoothers All Day Hydrating Make-up.

Matte:

Matte is flat, but never boring. Try CoverGirl Clean Oil Control Makeup for a sophisticated no-shine look that's perfect for oily and combination types. Need to morph from dewy to matte in a flash? Powder your entire face with CoverGirl Fresh Look Pressed Powder.

Its important to have a balance of color on your cheeks and lips, here are some suggestions for what lip colors go with what cheek colors (the lipcolors are first cheek color second): Pink-Pale Pink

Coral-Peach

Brown -Apricot

Bronze-Bronzer

Red-Soft Pink

Plucking doesn't have to hurt - really! Just follow these brow rules.

It's much less painful to pluck brows just after a shower, when pores are still open.

Using tweezers, pluck stray hairs with swift, sharp movements in the direction they grow.

To reduce puffiness around the eyes; grate cold cucumber, and wrap it in two thin pieces of paper towel. Apply to closed eyes for 15 minutes for an all-natural radiance boost.

Here are some guidelines for eyeshadow colors:

Dark eyes look good in grays, blues, purples and greens.

Light eyes look good in brown, taupe and bronze shades

Here is how to get rid of darkness around eyes:Shimmering hues of white, pearl or pale pink deflect the appearance of darkness around eyes. Brushing a sheer pastel, such as seafoam green, lavender or baby blue, across lids has a similar brightening effect on the eyes.Great Makeup Tips?
I agree with the answer above me!
Well for a darker complexion the use of regular foundation may cause the skin to look pale and unattractive but with the use of a Mac foundation with a cover girl skin math bronzer you allow the skin to look smooth with a beautiful shine
