Im going into the eighth grade & I want great makeup but also natural looking any ideas?

I was thinking light foundation like maybe Covergirl AquaSmooth, and a pressed powder I can have at school with me to touch-up shine during the day I was thinking maybe CoverGirl Fresh Complexion pocket powder or, CoverGirl Fresh Look Pressed Powder. I want something for eyes %26amp; maybe a really shiny lip gloss. Any good brands %26amp; products?

That is what I thought might be good but i'm open to any suggestions, %26amp; other looks that are age appropriate.Im going into the eighth grade %26amp; I want great makeup but also natural looking any ideas?
To the first guy: girls who wear makeup aren't sluts. What鈥檚 wrong with wanting to be confident in your looks? Being confident on the outside helps us become confident on the inside which improves life all around. It鈥檚 important for ALL women of ALL ages to feel beautiful and intelligent.

Anyway...

Do you mind if I suggest a makeup routine for you? What skin tone are you? Are you prone to acne? Do you have dry skin? That will all effect how the makeup works with your skin. If you have dry skin, you obviously don't want to be using a lot of powder. Just like if you have oily skin, you don't want to be using lots of liquid foundation. I think a simple makeup routine will work for your young skin considering you just want to freshen up and enhance your skin, not cover it.

Foundation:

I would go with a light foundation that doesn't look cakey. Remember to always use a makeup sponge/applicator when applying foundation. This will help make the foundation look more natural without any streaks or cakey spots. I've never tried Covergirl AquaSmooth, but it is supposed to be light. I have tried Maybelline Pure Makeup for those days when I don't feel like getting ready and it evens out any imperfections without looking like I have makeup on. I like that foundation a lot because its very light and natural. If you want something with more coverage, I would try Maybelline Dream Liquid Mousse. I use that foundation and it鈥檚 fantastic! Just make sure you don't over do it on foundation and that you always wash it off overnight! You don't want to clog your pores and end up with big zits in the morning!

Concealer:

You didn't mention a concealer, but if you get zits occasionally, I would recommend getting some. I can't really tell you which concealer to get because I don't know your skin type. I would go online and search for one for oily/combination, normal, or dry skin depending on which skin type you have.

Powder:

I really recommend Covergirl TruBlend Mineral Translucent Powder. I think it鈥檚 a great setting powder. If you鈥檙e feeling really brave, you can even wear it alone. Some people say it鈥檚 too sparkly, but I think it gives you that ';glow';. Also, when you鈥檙e tired or oily, it freshens your makeup up.

Blush:

You didn't mention blush, but I really like blush. I would use a highlighter powder. This will give you a nice glow and highlight your cheekbones.

Eyeliner:

I would recommend wearing light eyeliner. Brown or black would be good, but you really don't want to end up looking like an ugly raccoon. I really love Perfect Point Plus eyeliner from Covergirl. It goes on smoothly and the eyeliner comes with a sponge applicator on the other side of the pencil. Its self sharpening also. I would glide eyeliner lightly from the outer corner of the eye to about the middle of the pupil. Use the sponge to blend the eyeliner from the outer corner to the pupil to the inside corner of the eye. Make sure to blend!

Eye shadow:

I would recommend a champagne or mink color eye shadow. Just something to enhance and make your eyes stand out more. Try looking up your eye shadow enhancing colors with your eye color.

Mascara:

I really like Lash Blast by Covergirl! It鈥檚 great for just volumizing to make your eyes stand out and put a finishing touch on your makeup!

Lip-gloss:

Clear lip-gloss does wonders!

Hope I helped, and good luck!Im going into the eighth grade %26amp; I want great makeup but also natural looking any ideas?
That sounds like a good plan! Play up your natural features and don't go too heavy on the make up. Clear mascara works really well to hold brows in place and accentuate lashes without looking too heavy.

Lip gloss preferences vary, but also consider lip balm like the Lip Smackers products. They are very affordable and come in a variety of colors/flavors.

Drug stores like Walgreens have a cosmetic specialist who can help you choose the right products. You should ask to be sure, but some stores have a special refund policy to encourage customers to try new make up.
use a foundation, if you can find the right shade, and it looks ok.

apply with a makeup sponge, and dont use too much.

before you put foundation on, put a tiny bit of mascara on, but first define your lashes shape by an eyelash curler. just use a plain, none heated one. they work fine.

use whatever shade mascara you want, if you want a more natural look go with brown, if thats the color of your hair, or use a clear mascara just to define your lashes.

is you want a more defined look, apply black eyeliner to your lower lid. or liquid eyeliner across your top lids, to give that Cleopatra look. this will take a while to get perfect, unless you have a really steady hand!

if you want, perfect the look with a powder!

have fun, trying out new looks.

and also, if you want to wear lip makeup, just go with clear gloss or Vaseline! works miracles!

if your in the UK, barry m, miss sporty, nyc those are all good makeup brands.
since you are young, i am guessing that you are not looking to spend a lot of money on your makeup products. if you are willing to spend a good amount of cash, i suggest going to a department store and looking at their makeup. MAC cosmetics are especially great.

if you are looking to save, drugstore products will work fine. brands like covergirl and maybeline have lots of different products and colors.

i would suggest getting a good mascara and an eyeliner. if you want to get an eyeshadow, then many companies sell trios or quads of colors that go really well together. as for a lip gloss, you can never go wrong with a light pink gloss.
I'm going into eighth grade and when i do my makeup i use mascara on the top and bottom lashes and liner and the bottom of my eye. i also just put a little eye shadow on like browns and natural colors that aren't to dramatic. i use cover up to cover up zits and stuff, then i use a little blush and some pink lip gloss but don't put to much gloss on because i think it looks trashy if there is a lot.
I am a freshman now. This is what I wore in 8th grade:

Foundation

mascara

sometimes bronzer or blush

I think you shouldn`t wear lip gloss. If you do, don`t make it too shiny. When I saw people wearing really shiny lip gloss it just looked waaay over the top. If you really want to, do a tinted lip balm, and I suggest Burt`s Bees. They give great color and make your lips really healthy. I do think that using covergirl is good. I like their products.
Just get blush and mascara and gloss. You don't need foundation. It clogs pores and when your hormones kick in it'll break your face out.
go to mac trust me i get my products from there they're great.
for eyeshadow liner and mascara anything by m.a.c

for lips, i like bon-bons lipgloss. find it at walmart
don't turn into a slut just because you're a big girl now.
