What makeup foundation would have great cover-up for my greasy, acne scarred face?

My face is blotchy, acne-scarred and oily. I need a foundation that will do a great job covering up all these imperfections...any suggestions???What makeup foundation would have great cover-up for my greasy, acne scarred face?
Yes. I worked on a young girl that had severe blotchyness from a bith defect and acne. You can find Mederma, which was created for burn patients originally. Proactive works for many of my clients as a great acne treatment that doesn't dry the skin.

Be careful. Many people with oilier skin feel like they need to wash it all of hte time and if you do this, your skin thinks that it is dry so it overcompensates by creating more oil! That is a big factor in many cases of acne. Make sure that any product you use on your face is oil free and you don't touch your face very much becasue the oils on your hands can cause breakout. If this doesn't help, try a dermatologist. What makeup foundation would have great cover-up for my greasy, acne scarred face?
Use cooking spray, like PAM!
i have very oily, sensitive, and blotchy skin as well as crazy acne at the jawline right now.

so, i was interested in BE (bare escentuals) when i saw the infomercial. however, when i looked up user reviews on www.makeupalley.com, a lot of people complained about the ingredients. so i tried some of their suggestions:

www.everydayminerals.com (offers free samples, u pay for shipping)

www.joppaminerals.com ($2.75 for samples, u pay shipping)

www.alimacosmetics.com ($1.50 for samples, '; ';)

i've tried the first 2, and wow i really like mineral makeup! for my skin, i like joppa better. it has kaolin clay, which helps w/ oilies. everydayminerals comes w/ 3 foundation shades, 1 blush, and 1 concealer. joppa comes w/ 1 shade in full and soft coverage, and 1 finishing powder. i might try alima if i don't find a good color match in joppa. :)

the reason why this is good for ur skin is cuz it contains very few ingredients, doesn't clog pores, so allows ur skin to heal and breathe. also, the coverage is good and u don't have to cake on too much.

good luck, and keep experimenting!

Maxfactor makes a stick foundation that has great coverage. You can find it at your local Walmart for under $10.00.
Use bare minerals or any mineral based make-up. Do not use liquid or cream make-up as it will clog your pores.
Wallpaper paste does wonders. LOL I don't know, do you?
Use Retin A regularly to remove the oily feeling.

Use any oil free foundation after that.

Well since you've noted scarred-face, I am going to assume that your face has somewhat healed and needs a new way to radiate. There's a new product out called Vichy. I am not sure if it is out in the U.S. but it is in Canada, Europe and Asia and the products are AMAZING. They have a corrective foundation that is totally worth it. www.vichy.com and also, for those pesky dark spots you can check out products from dermaglow.

G.L.
Not sure for make-up.

But to avoid having acnes starting having as much water as you can in your daily routines also keep the Eudocoline dip slip and swap your face with it as 2-3 times a day.

If possible.....apply 'chandan' that you can get in any Indian store , on your acne and you will love the difference.

Good luck
First of all I would suggest a good skin care regimen to eliminate the blotchiness and oiliness. Next, there is a great product by Arbonne called ';Personalizer'; which is a greenish tinted powder that is applied under your make-up. It has ingredients to keep the oils down and the green tint eliminates the redness from acne scars.

I would be more than glad to send you some free samples and before and after pictures to help you with this. I know how painful skin difficulties can be and what effect this has on self-esteem. Remember to acknowledge the things that are beautiful about you and play up your best features. If you have great eyes, play them up and draw attention there and off your skin or if you have great lips, play them up! Often times a red-based lipstick will actually improve the appearance of redness in the skin (distracting the attention, again). Also, making sure your foundation is the right color can make a huge difference (the Personalizer also prevents your foundation from oxidizing and turning orange). Since several people suggested Mineral Powder foundation , I can also send you a sample of that. A close friend of mine used the Personalizer and Mineral Powder foundation for the same issues you are having and said her skin never looked better. I know this gave her so much more confidence!!!
I suggest to try proactive and bare minerals to cover it up.
