Can someone recommend a great makeup foundation?

i dont want powder as i have dry skin

thanks :)Can someone recommend a great makeup foundation?
I would recommend a tinted miosturizer instead. If you have dry skin, it will be better to keep your skin moisturized and unless you have severe problems with uneven skin tone it will be sufficient to cover any minor imperfections and will never look made up--it will just look like you have healthy, radiant complexion. Also, according to my husband, foundation is kind of gross. Can someone recommend a great makeup foundation?
i got dry skin, so what i do is apply Mac Studio Fix Fluid ( http://www.maccosmetics.com/templates/pr… ) .. but before applying it i apply moistrizer that is special for dry skin, i get it from a drug store nothing too expensive (try Olay) ... another foundation is Mac creamy foundation ( http://www.maccosmetics.com/templates/pr… ) .. Sometimes i mix both foundations together
Try Paula's choice Best Face Forward. It's only on-line but it is the BEST I have ever had. She has written many books on make-up and has tried every product out there and will recommend not only her product but others as well; for the most part she does not recommend the big name department store brands as they are usually overpriced due to packaging! The best book I have bought was Don't go to the Cosmetics Counter without me. Buy it used it really is a great resource. After purchasing her book I decided to try her foundation, amazing! I tend to end up oily around the ';T'; zones by the end of the day and not w/her products. Plus she doesn't have the fancy packaging to keep her costs down she keeps all her products under $15.
I tried out so many foundations in advance of my wedding and I found that MAC was so much better than anything else. It is a bit more expensive but it is defo worth it.

Also, invest in a brush to apply it, again, expensive, but they last for years and really make a difference.

They do all different types, mine is a liquid foundation which goes on really well with the brush and I also have a little pot of concealer which works wonders - I have dry skin too.

Good luck!
i would try Giorgio Armani Luminous Silk foundation, it's $55, but it looks amazing on your skin.

Yves Saint Laurent Perfect Touch Foundation is also pretty good, it's $52. Both of the foundations are liquid so they won't be as drying as a powder foundation.

If you're looking for a Tinted Moisturizer, try Laura Mercier or Stila. My friends have tried both, and I've heard good reviews. You can get either at Sephora, so you could go in there and see which one you like better.

L’Oreal True Match is a pretty good foundation if you're looking for a drugstore brand. It comes in a ton of colors so you're more than likely to find one to match yours. Also a liquid foundation.

Good luck!
Don't use MAC, the line that is used by everyone is called Studio Fix for a reason... it's for studio use originally, but marketed as an everyday makeup! Plus I got acne from it :(

I recommend using Cover Girl AquaSmooth

It's relatively new, and works really well for dry or combination skin like mine.

Hope that helped :)
I would go with one of Prescriptive's liquid foundations. They have one for each type of skin. You would go with either Virtual Skin or Flawless (which is for more coverage). They are the best because they are the ONLY make-up company that colorprints to find your undertone, ultimately finding your true foundation match :)
Maybelline Dream Matte Mousse works a treat, its really creamy, so it hydrates and moisturises the skin too. I suffer from dry skin and I find that this along with daily moisturing makes my skin look great, and not oily from too much moisturising!!

And at around £6 its a bargain. Apply with a blusher brush for a flawless effect
rimmel! they have great foundation liquid ones. (:

and use a lot of moisterer on your skin it helps a lott. i have really bad dry hands moisturer seems to be making my hands less dry but il never have soft soft hands. but its good to put it on yourr face and use lots of soap;)
for dry skin try using Biore moisturizer

http://www.biore.com/usa/images/p_sbMois…

and my favorite foundation is Covergirl tru blend

i always use a dust of powder over my face after.. looks FLAWLESS!!
i like space nks colour compact.bit pricey but very very good.

apply a skin beauty balm before your foundation to stop your skin drying out.
any foundation from mac is amaaazing and it wont dry out your skin!

and for your dry skin you should try the moisturizers from avon
Try puritycosmetics.co.uk. It is really good!
I love MAC foundation, its really light and sheer, but has great coverage. you won't even know you're wearing it, and your skin will look flawless
MAC they have some really thin ones that are so light weight, it pretty much just feels like moisturizer
A great make up foundation?

As opposed to like, a book foundation?
Depends on your age but I use L'Oreal Age Re-perfect and it is just that - perfect.
L'oreal
get a tinted moisturizer, it's lighter and covers evenly
Revlon colour stay- (for dry skin)

It is perfect for dry skin as it is a liquid one =)
