lancome makes awesome eye shadow colors and the drug store has cool stuff tooHow do you apply great looking eye makeup?
i use black sparkley eye liner. bottom only and a pink eyeshadow with black mascara
first of all i use concealer to hide dark circles. i also use it on my lid to even out the color. i use revlon eyeshadow quad in the buff. i put on the light shade on my lid. the medium shade on my crease. lightest shade on brown bone and darkest shade on outer corners of my eyes. then i use eyeliner in black in my upper and lower rims, then i put the same eyeliner on my top and bottom lid. because i have big eye lids, i put thick eyeliner on. then i curl my lashes and put 2 coats of black volumizing mascara. then with a brown brow pencil i fill in my brows and brush them.
First, I recommend to put on a primer to make your eye makeup last longer. I recommend Urban Decay Primer Potion. U can check it out on drugstore.com

Apply the eyeshadow first. Depends on the colours u have, I recommend to use palettes as the colours have already been matched for u. U can try Maybelline, check out on maybelline.com.

Start off with the base colour (usually the middle colour in the palette) and apply to the whole lid.

Then apply the darkest colour to the cease which is the area where the lids folds. This is make your eyes look more deepened.

Lastly apply the lightest colour to your brow bone. But not to the entire area. Just apply to the area towards the end of your eye (last 1/3) area.

Remember to blend! To make the eyeshadow look more natural.

Next apply your liner. Apply to the 2/3 area from the end for the upper eyelid. Leaving the tip empty.

Then apply also the lower eyelid and only to the 2/3 area from the end. Use a Q-tip or a sponge tip to lightly smudge it for a more natural look. U can also apply the base colour over the liner. Lightly draw over for a ';pulled together'; look as the whole eye uses the same colour scheme.

Next apply the lightest or use another shimmery colour to the tips of your eyes. Draw a ';C'; shape at the tips.

Lastly curl your eyelashes. Hold it at the base for 10 secs. And again at the middle portion and lastly tips, each for 10 secs. This is make your eyelashes more curled.

I recommend u to do this even if you do not want to put make up on that day. It gives u a more ';awaked'; and ';refreshed'; look.

Apply a coat of mascara for a more natural look or 2 more a more dramatic look.

If this may sound too much, u can cut down on the eyeshadow part. Use only a base colour for the whole lid and proceed to the other parts.

Hope all these info helps! :D
